lol.. the tcp ip game.

well coming sunday got CCNA class. and found this link The TCP/IP drinking game lol. thats just extreme geekness (or leetness ). and as matter of fact the next CCNA lecture is going to be on TCP/IP. complete 6-7 hours of lecture on it. all topic of tcp/ip whole day.

I am thinking of printing this game out (without the drinking part ofcourse) and give it to our faculty, but i fear he might keep kicking me till i go limp for being a such a geek.

humm and also, I shud find a way to get a nice big wallpaper printed out from the OSI chart i found. shud talk with vijay tomorrow.

past weeks action

joined CCNA. after mastering linux for years and years i thought finally my learning curve is finished but got fed up with everyone asking "do you know cisco admining" and joined this course.

after going thru html/xml/asp acess to vb/vb.net /sql7/oracle 8.1 to linux/php/mysql learning cycle. this CCNA is last thing i am going to learn . others see i mastering everything, i see it as i cant crack it the way i want to do it with any single IT thing.

and today downloaded and talked (yes talked not just chatted) with dhaval using googletalk . I am horribly disappointed or mayb this plain jane IM is the way its shud be, afterall, all i need is to chat and talk with my friensd and clients. lets see does google talk grows on me.

the dream comes true.

Well. Doom 3 is cool. when everything was shut down for whole week due to rain, me and my cousin were playing doom3 , and scared like anything (i am huge big male species so when i am scared, there gotta be something really scary stuff) its awesome game. once you see it, you just wont play any other FPS (first person shooter) game.

Just yesterday, i read about quakecon starting (its a gamers summit who love playing quake series and mods, there are championships held and all that stuff). At night when i went to bed thinking of quakecon and doom3. I wondered, why dont IDsoftware (the makers of quake* and doom*) open the source code for quake3, after all quake 3 is almost a decade old peice of software and ID have milked it to extreme by sellings lincense to use its engine and ofcourse the game itself.

*Flashback to now, the current time. its morning*

Just now i opened slashdot (my morning dose of linux news.) and saw this Quake 3 Source Code to be Released

how is that for a dream come true. Go ID

good news.

the rain has stopped. for more than 5-6 hours now.. just some odd 10 secs shows thats it :) .

the rain is killing my plans.

well this is getting too much. rain from july 26 to 28 was enuf to make living hell but today... i am hearing the rain fall continuously for the past 24 hours.

when is this going to end.
